You want to start using macros or visual basic for applications in Excel, but you can’t find the developer menu!

Don’t worry, Microsoft in their wisdom, have disabled the Developer Ribbon by default.
So to enable the developer ribbon in Excel follow along with this brief tutorial.
First click on the File tab at the top left of your Excel Menu, the info page will then open.
At the bottom of the Info page you will find the options menu item.
Sign up below and get notified when new Business Programmer blog or video tutorials are created.
Click on Options, then the Excel Options dialog box will appear.
Choose "Customise Ribbon" from the options in the left column of the dialog box.
Then under the "Customize The Ribbon" heading in the right column of the Excel Options dialog box select the "Developer" checkbox.
Your Developer menu is now enabled and you are now ready to start recording macros or programming Office Visual Basic for Applications.
